Sustainable Artist

Meet Godfrey Luke, an artist, teacher, and performer who blends art, culture, and sustainability in his work. He creates paintings, sculptures, and carnival costumes using natural and recycled materials. For over 14 years, he has taught children across Grenada about art, drumming, and dance, helping to keep traditional skills alive. As the director of Ashanti Footprints, he leads a children’s performing group, and he also runs the Chip & Chisel Museum in Calliste, where he showcases his eco-friendly art. His work has been featured in many exhibitions, including a solo show at Laluna Boutique Hotel & Villas.
